The Principal Secretary State Department for Basic Education Dr. Belio Kipsang will today, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 launch the distribution of grade 9 textbooks and unveil the KICD strategic plan.

Global Bioeconomy Summit 

Global Bioeconomy Summit 2024 is set to take place at Safari Park. This is the first time the summit is being held outside Europe.

It will take place on October 23 and 24.

Infotrak Poll release

NWHSA Strategic Plan 2023/2027 launch

National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority is set to launch Strategic Plan 2023/2027 in Weston Hotel- Lang’ata Road.

National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority is established by Water Act 2016 with the main mandate of undertaking on behalf of the national government, the development of national public water works for water resources storage and flood control.

"The Authority has realigned its Strategic Plan to emerging government policies and directives in line with the revised guidelines for the preparation of fifth-generation strategic plans, 2023 – 2027."

Neuroscientists event

Neuroscientists are having a function in Nairobi focused on brain and mind health courtesy of Kemri with a special focus on how the climate crisis is affecting them.

Gachagua impeachment cases

A three-judge bench will today deliver a ruling on whether they will disqualify themselves or proceed with a case challenging orders blocking the appointment of Kithure Kindiki as the Deputy President.

Justices Eric Ogola, Anthony Mrima and Freda Mugambi set the date after parties on Tuesday submitted extensively on the manner in which they were appointed to hear the case.

Impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua through his team of advocates led by Senior Counsel Paul Muite argued that the only person who can empanel a bench is the Chief Justice.
