Police are probing the death of a 47-year-old man in Kiminini, Trans Nzoia County.
The body of the man identified as Zachariah was discovered in his house lying in a pool of blood.
Police say he appeared to have been the victim of a violent crime.
The motive behind the suspected murder is yet to be established.
Police processed the scene after which they took the remains of the deceased to Kiminini Cottage Hospital Mortuary for preservation pending autopsy.
Elsewhere, a man was found dead in Murang'a after a suspected epileptic attack.
Police officers say a resident of the Mathia Kiriko area in Kirinyaga County, alerted them that a man identified as Charles Mwangi, was found dead in his bed.
Upon arrival, the officers said they observed Mwangi had no signs of physical injury.
The body to Karatina Funeral Home for preservation as the probe continues.
An autopsy will also be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Elsewhere In Tharaka Nithi County, a Pregnant Woman succumbed to complications at home while experiencing labour pains.
The woman police identified as Ester Kagendo had been in labor and passed away in her home.
Preliminary Investigations by police suggested that the death was related to complications arising during childbirth.
The scene was processed by Gatunga police officers, and Kagendo’s body was transported to the Marimanti Level 4 Mortuary, where an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the precise cause of her death.
