The National Youth Service has announced 217 job opportunities for its graduates in Saudia Arabia.
In a statement on Sunday, NYS said that they are delighted to announce job opportunities specifically for men in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Through our client reputable and duly registered recruitment company in Kenya, we are delighted to inform you our esteemed graduates [male] for exciting opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
The 217 job opportunities have different salary range depending on the type of job.
The opportunities include the position of Heavy Equipment Mechanics which require 60 men, Heavy Equipment Electricians [65], Generator Technicians [62], and Automative AC Technicians [30].
The Heavy Equipment Mechanics are to carry out all preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance activities on the AMHEC equipment’s mainly mobile cranes.
Those interested for the Heavy Equipment Mechanics should have Diploma or Trade test in mechanical engineering or Construction plant mechanics or related qualification.
They must also have at least 10 years’ experience dealing with heavy equipment such as cranes, be able to write and speak in English, have good attitude, valid passport and current good conduct certificate.
Applicants for Heavy Equipment Electrician will perform servicing, repairs and overhauls or replacement of all electrical components including stater motors, monitors, displays and camera systems on the designated equipment.
They must have electrical knowledge, be able to inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose faults, and list parts required to repair and carry out repairs.
Those interested in Heavy Equipment Electrician post should have Diploma or grade test in Electrical Engineering or related field, familiar with heavy equipment such as heavy cranes, have a minimum of 10 years’ experience operating heavy equipment.
They should equally be able to read, write and speak English, have good attitude, valid passport and have current good conduct certificate.
Generator Technicians must be able to conduct inspections, diagnostics and repairs of all varieties of diesel generators as well as low and medium low voltage systems, ensuring that the services are executed safely, professionally and in a timely manner.
Those interested should have generator experience, [Cummins-CAT-Perkins] and have a qualified experience in the same field (over 10 years) of Electric Diagrams, excitation system analysis and AVR mechanism.
Interested individuals should have a current good conduct, passport, speak and write in English and should have a certificate, diploma or grade test in mechanical or electrical.
Automative AC Technicians requiring 30 men wants those who can assess and perform repairs as well as maintenance on the air conditioning systems of heavy machinery, trucks and light vehicles.
The interested persons should be qualified and have experience in heavy equipment, be familiar with AC systems of heavy equipment, have a diploma or certificate or grade test and should be able to write and speak in English.
Those candidates interested should submit their applications online via the NYS website. The application deadline is Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
Interviews are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, November 23 to 24 at the NYS headquarters in Nairobi.
Those who will qualify will be given further instructions.
