The National Youth Service has announced 108 job openings across 12 distinct categories for NYS graduates.
The opportunities are;
Oil production supervisors (4 posts)
They will supervise the comprehensive procedure of avocado oil extraction, starting from the reception of raw avocados to the ultimate production of premium avocado oil.
They will also direct the production team, ensuring effective coordination of operations throughout the extraction process among other duties.
Agronomists (4 posts)
They will be accountable for the oversight and enhancement of agricultural methods related to avocado cultivation for both packaging and oil extraction purposes, among other duties.
Ripening in Charges (5 posts)
They will supervise the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the ripening area and ripening rooms. They will also oversee the avocado ripening process to guarantee compliance with quality standards for oil production and manage the ripening conditions of the avocados.
Quality controllers (7 posts)
They will supervise and guarantee adherence to quality control measures for avocados during the packaging process intended for export. They ill also monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the production of avocado oil among other responsibility.
Ripening in charge assistants (10 posts)
This group will make sure the ripening area and rooms are clean and working well. Watch over the avocados as they ripen to make sure they're good for making oil.
Field/procurement Assistants (10 posts)
They will assist the procurement team in identifying and acquiring premium avocados and associated raw materials from various farms or suppliers across different regions.
They will also facilitate the management of supplier relationships to promote effective and seamless operational processes.
Sorting clerks (16 posts)
They will be accountable for categorizing avocados according to quality, size, ripeness, and additional specified standards prior to packaging or further processing among other responsibilities.
Oil Machine operators (8 posts)
They will be ccountable for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment utilized in the extraction of high-quality avocado oil. They will also ensure the efficient and consistent production of premium avocado oil through effective machinery management.
Other posts are: Weighbridge Clerks (20 posts), Electricians (10 posts), Forklift Operators (9 posts),and Boiler operators (5 posts).
