The Kenya Airports Authority has appointed Nicholas Bodo as the acting Managing Director effective immediately.
KAA Board Chair Caleb Kositany announced the appointment in a notice to employees on Tuesday, December 31.
"On 24th December 2024, KAA re-advertised the recruitment of the Managing Director/ CEO. In the interim period, and to ensure a smooth transition, the Board has appointed Mr Nicholas Bodo as the Acting Managing Director, effective immediately," Kositany said.
He added that the Bodo will be in office until a substantive Managing Director/ CEO is appointed.
Until his appointment, Bodo served as the Director of Air Services in the Ministry of Transport.
He has a wealth of experience in all matters of aviation, Kositany added.
