There was a sombre mood Thursday during the memorial service for the memorial service for the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) chairperson, the late Roseline Odede.

The service was held at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi and witnessed the attendance of several leaders including Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka among others.

Odede died after a short illness.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

The family stated that thereafter, the cortege will depart for the family home in Ruma village, Uyoma Katweng’a for an overnight vigil at the homestead.
