The High Court will today issue directions in a case in which a man was charged in relation to the murders of four women allegedly abducted from Eastleigh late last year.
The last time the matter was in court, Hashim Dagane alias Hashim Khalif denied the charges in a virtual court session.
He denied murdering Dahabo Daud Said Alias Waris, Amina Dhahir, Musayba Abdi Mohamed and Deka Abdi Noor Gorane.
The offences are said to have been committed between 21 October and 30 October.
According to the charge sheet, Dahabo was murdered on the night of 21 October and 22 October at the Kyumbi area within Machakos County.
Amina and Abdi on the other hand met their death on the same night but within the Parklands area.
On the night of October 29 October and 30, the charge sheet states that Deka was murdered at Valley Heights Apartments, Lavington area within Nairobi county.
Hashim at the time sought to be released on bail but the Prosecution opposed it.
They indicated they would be filing an affidavit detailing their reasons.
The court directed the same be done within seven days ahead of today's mention.
Separately, the Sh1.4 billion graft case against former Kenya Ports Authority managing director Daniel Manduku proceeds for a hearing today.
The case according to the DPP relates to the procurement of the manufacture of concrete barriers with a contractual sum of Sh1,420,730,721.81.
The project according to the DPP was not within the KPA's approved budget for the 2018-19 financial year and had not been planned for by the ports authority.
