Ogamba further launched the dual training policy, which would equip Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETs) students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to remain globally competitive.
He urged the trainees to take advantage of the various programs implemented by the government such as the Hustler Fund and the Youth Enterprise Development Fund to grow their businesses citing cyber security, renewable energy, use of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation were among skills youth should be equipped with.
The Education CS also encouraged women to be actively involved particularly in male-dominated fields. ‘
"We must cater to women's participation in male-dominated fields like Engineering and Technology,’’ he said.
