Former Malava MP Malulu Injendi will today be laid to rest at his Malava home in Kakamega.

President William Ruto is among the leaders expected to attend the ceremony.

Injendi passed away on February 17, at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi where he had been hospitalised.
Global Hunger Index
Concern Worldwide Kenya, an aid organisation working towards tackling hunger and transforming lives together with Welthungerhilfe Kenya (WWH) will unveil the 2024 Global Hunger Index (GHI) report.
GHI is a tool that attempts to measure and track hunger globally as well as by region and by country, prepared by the two European NGOs.

It is calculated annually, and its results appear in a report issued in October each year.

The 2024 GHI shows that progress in combating global hunger remains inadequate.
Though some countries have made headway, the 2024 GHI score for the world is 18.3, which is considered moderate, and is down only slightly from the 2016 score of 18.8.
Hunger is highest in the regions of Africa South of the Sahara and South Asia, both of which have scores reflecting hunger in the serious category.
The goal of Zero Hunger by 2030, established by the Sustainable Development Goals, now appears unreachable.
IHS, KCB partnership
International Housing Solutions (IHS) and KCB's leadership will address the media and give insights into Kenya's real estate sector.
They will also announce a strategic partnership for boosting affordable housing.
The event will be held at Eldama park office, Westlands.
Gakuya case

The Sh40 million graft case against Embakasi North MP James Gakuya resumes today with the court expected to issue fresh directions on how the hearing will proceed.

Gakuya was charged in 2018 with four counts of conflict of interest for allegedly awarding tenders for road construction to companies linked to him.

The MP was charged alongside Cleophas Omariba Oyaro, Leah Waithera Guchu, and Richard Mwangi Chuchu.
