Mwaura further pointed out that there's a 53 per cent increase in fiber optic connectivity with an additional 4,690 km increase between 2022 and 2025.

He added that the number of digitised government services has also increased from 350 services in 2022 to 20,985 in 2025.

“These services have been integrated with the eCitizen and mobile platforms for seamless services. This has improved revenue collection per day to between Sh700 million to Sh1 billion.”

Mwaura said 1.7 billion seedlings have been produced and 758 million trees grown through a coordinated whole of government approach in growing trees.

“Loan limits have also grown progressively from 500 to 3,000 in 2022 to 100 to 50,000 in 2023 to benefit the more than 1.3 million repeat customers,” he said.
