
Detectives in Nakuru County are investigating the brutal murder of a woman whose body was discovered in her rented house in Kiptagich, Kuresoi.
The incident occurred at Saptet Shopping Center, where the woman’s lifeless body was found lying inside her house with a deep wound on her forehead.
Authorities are yet to establish the motive behind the killing, and no arrests have been made so far.
Investigators say a postmortem examination will be conducted at the Olenguruone Sub-County Hospital mortuary as part of the ongoing probe into the murder.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Soweto, Kayole, Nairobi, a 70-year-old man tragically died after falling from a stool while repairing the roof of a structure.
Joseph Ogal was working alone on the third floor of an apartment when he slipped and fell headfirst onto the floor.
He had been contracted to repair a chicken house when the accident occurred.
Authorities say his body was discovered hours later, with visible injury marks at the back of his head.
Police moved the body to the mortuary as investigations into the incident continue.
