President William Ruto on Wednesday attracted a huge crowd during his second-day tour of Mt Kenya.
The President visited Igembe South and Maua in Meru County on Wednesday.
In Tigania West, Meru, Ruto commissioned the Kibiru Beef Feedlot to boost livestock production in the region, both for local consumption and export.

He issued 10,800 title deeds to residents of the area to enable them to benefit directly from the Sh40 billion Meru Energy Park, which will offer them financial returns for the use of their land.
Ruto said the government is empowering farmers to enhance livestock production by restocking animals lost to drought, promoting value addition, and ensuring access to reliable markets to drive livestock commercialisation.

He said the country's objective is to make livestock farming a viable and profitable enterprise, one that puts money in the pockets of farmers and transforms their livelihoods.
In Igembe South, Meru Ruto launched the Maua Sewerage Line that will serve over 13,000 people in Maua.
Later, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Maua Modern Market and addressed traders and residents.
The President was accompanied by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, among other leaders.
