Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and other top opposition leaders will on Saturday attend a major prayer rally at Sultan Hamud.
The former Vice President, who has declared himself the country’s de facto opposition leader, has recently intensified his countrywide engagements ahead of the 2027 general election.
The prayer rally, which will be held at the Redeemed Gospel Church Grounds in Sultan Hamud, is expected to attract key opposition figures.
A post by the Wiper Party on its official X account did not provide detailed information about the rally, but fireworks are expected given the latest political developments.
"Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is currently en route to a prayer rally at the Redeemed Gospel Church Grounds,'' Wiper posted on April 5.
They have accused Kenya Kwanza and ODM of attempting to influence the recruitment process by lobbying for their close allies—allegations that both parties have denied.
