Woman stabbed to death in domestic attack in Kitale

Police said Faith Mukhwana succumbed to stab wounds at a hospital in the town after the attack at her home.

She died on April 7 at the ICU, where she had been admitted following the stabbing, police said.

Police said they are pursuing an assailant linked to the incident.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations, detectives handling the matter said.

The motive of the attack is yet to be established, but police said they are following good leads to help in the arrest of the assailant.

In Oyugis, Homabay, a 63-year-old man was found dead in an open field near his home.

In the same area, one Pauline Ambani collapsed and died at her rental house within the Kambi Mawe area.

In Kitengela, Kajiado County, the body of a man was found on the roadside after he collapsed there.
