It is all systems go for the Sharia Compliance and Halal Business Expo 2025, scheduled to be held at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

The event will take place from April 28 to April 29 and will conclude with a gala dinner and Excellence & Appreciation Awards Ceremony on April 30, 2025.

"The forum will equip stakeholders with knowledge on the latest trends and opportunities in the Halal market. It will also offer insights and resources to small and medium enterprises looking to enter the Halal sector," a statement on the expo website noted.

The keynote speakers of the event will be Somali’s ambassador to Kenya, Jabril Ibrahim Abdull,e and Juma Mukhwana, CBS, the Principal Secretary for the State Department of Industry under the Ministry of Investments, Trade, and Industry (MITI)

“The forum will give importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers looking for halal-certified goods,” a statement on the expo said.

“They will have the opportunity to network with government agencies, halal certification bodies, and Islamic financial institutions.”

The forum is set to encourage investments aligned with Sharia principles to drive economic development and facilitate partnerships through fostering collaboration among local and international businesses for mutual growth.

It will also showcase innovations by highlighting groundbreaking products and services within the Halal industry.
