The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), together with other organisations will host its Second Annual International Relations Society of Kenya (IRSK) Conference on November 20-22, 2024 in Nairobi.

The theme of the Conference is "Fostering Integration and Cooperation in the Comesa Region through International Relations and Diplomacy.”

The written statement also stated that the second edition of the IRSK Annual Conference represents an exciting convergence of theory and practice in international relations and diplomacy and seeks to make a meaningful contribution to the promotion of peace, stability, and prosperity in the Comesa region.

The event was first held in 2023, attracting participants from all over with key speakers and Comesa member states attending was insightful for the participants, but the one to be held this year is expected to be a landmark event for the stakeholders. 

The event will attract key stakeholders, including government officials, diplomats, policymakers, scholars, business leaders, media, and civil society from the Comesa region who will be expected at the conference for the next three days.
