stupefying drugs with dire consequences if he doesn’t withdraw the case against
his daughter. The officer’s daughter and two accomplices spiked the reveler’s
drink at a bar in Ruiru before robbing him of his phone and transferring funds
from his bank account. Unknown to them, they were captured on CCTV and later
tracked, arrested and taken back to Ruiru where they await to be charged. Upon
learning of the arrest of his daughter, the senior cop demanded that the victim
withdraws the case or he faces dire consequences. The victim is now praying

the powers that be to beg for reconciliation. The politico fears he is being
targeted and is reaching out to announce his Damascus moment. But Corridors of

A VOCAL YOUTHFUL senator is walking on eggshells over
how to continue with his politics, given the changes that have occurred on the
political scene lately. While the opposition lawmaker does not want to offend
his political masters in a popular party by taking a harsh stance on the
current administration, he itches to maintain a hostile stance to curry favour
with the public, who are disaffected by poor delivery. The senator tells his
associates that sticking with his outfit is the only guarantee he has for a
political future. His party enjoys massive support in the county he represents
and going against the establishment would be political suicide. It would be
interesting to watch how he makes his next steps.

A PRINCIPAL SECRETARY is spending sleepless nights as
the crucial docket suffers sustained bashing from Kenyans due to a
controversial project the state is pushing despite public uproar. The man is
avoiding making the news due to the negativity the project has attracted and has
resorted to talking less. What disturbs the PS so much, though, is the fact
that other honchos in the ministry are not concerned about the ongoing uproar.
Matters have been made worse for the man by the fact that the authorities are
adamant the project must be implemented.
