So excited is the man that he has allegedly started preparing members of his staff for the move, which his handlers believe is now only a matter of time. The man has been purportedly over the moon of late about the broad-based arrangement and does not hesitate to confront anyone who is against the idea.

The senior officer, who had convened the meeting, was allegedly told to his face that a suitable candidate for the governor’s seat had already been identified, but it was neither him nor the current governor. He was advised to declare his bid for an MP’s seat early and save his career from sinking with the governor.
