As President-elect Donald Trump prepares for his inauguration on Monday, Jan. 20, extensive security measures are being put in place for the event. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has classified the inauguration as a national special security event.
Trump, along with Vice President-elect JD Vance, is scheduled to be sworn in on the West Front of the Capitol.
Although law enforcement agencies are preparing for potential demonstrations, they do not anticipate any significant security concerns, according to a report by WJLA-TV.
The following world leaders are expected to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony: Chinese President Xi Jinping, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, Argentine President Javier Milei, and Takeshi Iwaya from Japan.
