

In a recent report by the Ministry of Wildlife and Tourism, Kenya remains a key destination for African travelers, with Uganda leading as the top source of visitors in 2024.
According to the report dubbed Annual Tourism Sector Performance Report, Uganda recorded 225,559 arrivals, followed closely by Tanzania with 203,290 visitors.
Somalia, Rwanda, and Burundi also had significant numbers, with 81,555, 65,866, and 51,865 visitors respectively.
Other countries contributing to Kenya’s tourism include Ethiopia (48,291), South Sudan (45,250), the Democratic Republic of Congo (38,986), South Africa (38,247), and Nigeria (33,804).
