It is closely followed by Moi University with 8,869 and the University of Nairobi with 8,604, according to KUCCPS.
Other high-enrollment institutions include Chuka (7,946) and Kisii (7,903). Conversely, Garissa University recorded the lowest intake at 1,273 students.
