The University of Arizona is currently trending on Twitter.
President William Ruto on Sunday, December 11, said that every citizen who will attend the 59th Jamhuri Day celebrations will grab a 16-unit course paid for by the University.
"There are no entry requirements for the course, as long as you can read English or Kiswahili," he said.
Ruto further said that the opportunity offered by the University of Arizona was the main reason this year's Jamhuri Day fete was themed around innovation and technology.
Kenyans who attended the celebrations at Nyayo Stadium and wanted to register for the course, were required to scan a QR code that took them to the registration portal.
Kenyans have since taken to social media to react to the call for scholarship.
