Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has urged Azimio leader Raila Odinga to groom a successor and quit politics instead of engaging in anti-government protests.
Sudi said Odinga is now a liability to the Luo community and the country after five failed attempts at the presidency.
The MP was speaking at his home in Eldoret on Saturday.
He said many people have lost their lives and property championing Raila's quest but he has never gone back to condole with them.
"You must be foolish to have lost five elections and you still want to mislead Kenyans as you have always done," Sudi said.
He alleged that many people have suffered in the ongoing demos because of Odinga.
However, Sudi says no matter how long the protests take President William Ruto's government will not accept any form of a handshake.
"We have said no to handshake and we will not yield to threats and intimidation," Sudi said.
The MP further alleged former President Uhuru Kenyatta is financing Odinga for the mass action demos to sabotage his successor.
He accused Odinga of misusing poor Kenyans while dining with the rich.
"I was surprised that Odinga and his team went to sympathise with the sheep on Kenyatta's farm instead of going to see families of Kenyans who have been killed in their protests," Sudi said.
He said Odinga's threat to hold the mother of all protests next week would be met with a swift reaction from the Kenya Kwanza government.
"We dare him to bring it on next week and we will meet him there on the streets of Nairobi," Sudi said.
Sudi assured Kenyans that President Ruto will transform the country's economy despite the opposition's demos.
