Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has affirmed that the Kenya Kwanza administration is stable and firmly in control.

The Prime CS said the opposition leaders have failed to move on from the outcome of last year's presidential elections and that is why they called for protests.

Mudavadi said President William Ruto has done impressively so well at the helm of the country' political leadership since taking over power last year.

''The president's diplomatic scorecard at the helm in the last few months has been extraordinary,'' Mudavadi said.

He said the array of international leaders who have visited Nairobi is testimony of the confidence of the international community on Ruto's leadership.

''We are clear that the government of president Ruto is firmly in control and that the challenges we are facing will soon be behind us,'' he said at Sagana State Lodge during an inter-denominational service.

Mudavadi said on Sunday that the opposition is using street protests to undermine the President's leadership despite his victory in last year's presidential elections.

''The opposition are using simple tactics like maandamano and rushing to court with petition and trying to externalise their losses at every corner,'' he said.

The opposition and the government have agreed to hold talks to unlock the political standoff but they have clashed on the agenda of dialogue.
