Former Raila Odinga's presidential chief agent Saitabao Kanchory has announced that he will be vying for the presidency position during the next general elections.
Kanchory on Wednesday said his decision came about due to public demand that he should vie for the top seat in 2027.
"Now you have a reason to vote on August 10, 2027. Vote Saitaboa the 6th for a new and better Kenya. Safari imeanza," Kanchory announced.
Kanchory came to the limelight after writing a book on why Azimio Chief Raila Odinga lost the chance to become the fifth president.
He noted that it has been exactly one year since Kenyans voted for the current regime in hopes of a new and better Kenya.
He said the promise of a new and better Kenya and many more remain unfulfilled by the Kenya Kwanza regime a year on.
Kanchory said the next general election is four-short-years away adding that he will be the one to rescue Kenya from political deceit and corruption if elected as the Head of State.
"The next election is 4 short years away and since the campaigns have started (or never stopped), let me take this early opportunity to answer your call for me and other courageous young leaders to rescue our country from the wicked grip of political deception, conmanship and corruption that cuts across the current political divide," he said.
He said Kenyans are tired of the same old folks and faces with the same old stories.
"Let's make 2027 the year of true change and a new dawn," Kanchory said.
