Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is set to inaugurate the Kenya-Colombia Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC).
The JCC was among the MoUs signed
During the inauguration, the DP will also address a Joint Business Forum.
Before the inauguration, he is scheduled to visit coffee farms undertaking research, production, marketing and value addition and one of the coffee regulatory institutions.
The DP arrived in Colombia on Tuesday and was received by Cabinet Secretary Diaspora and Foreign Affairs Alfred Mutua.
“I have today received Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who is on a four official visit to Colombia on invitation by his Colombian counterpart,” Mutua said via his social media handle.
The DP is leading a Kenyan delegation to the 7th Edition of the Producers and Roasters Forum.
The forum brings together coffee producers, growers and roasters across the globe.
