Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has asked the government to inform the public on the whereabouts of Kenyans in Palestine and Israel.
The MP said the intense attacks from both sides have claimed lives yet the state is yet to put in place plans to evacuate Kenyans from the countries.
"There have been attacks since Saturday and we are yet to know how many Kenyans have been affected, and if killed, how many? Government should move with speed, " he said.
Babu noted that the state should put in place evacuation plans to bring Kenyans home as soon as possible.
"We have been waiting for a clear communication of the number of Kenyans in Palestine and Israel in vain, bring our people back home," he added.
He also called for the United Nations to work towards storing peace in both countries.
"There is a lot of tension. If there is no peace, this can result in a third world war, countries are now taking sides," he noted.
The MP spoke while addressing the media during the young Parliamentarians' press briefing.
As of Wednesday, 1,200 deaths have been reported in Israel while 900 in Palestine.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was 'at war' and vowed that Hamas, the militant group that rules Gaza, will "pay a price it has never known".
"Hamas launched a murderous surprise attack against the state of Israel and its citizens," he said.
This is one of the most serious escalations in the Israel-Palestinian conflict in years.
