Mwaura noted that efforts to deliver ongoing relief supplies to the affected counties  continue unabated.

He said the management of the cholera situation in Lamu and Tana river counties has been effective with no reported new deaths in the last five days.

"The cumulative cholera related fatalities remain at four. To enhance further relief support in Tana river, the World Food Programme helicopter relocated from Wajir to Garissa yesterday in readiness for relief distribution within the Tana Delta area," Mwaura said.

Mwaura further made it known to the public that incase of any emergence incidents they should not hesitate to reach out.
