Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Monday hosted a group of religious leaders at his Karen residence.
Through his X account, the DP said religious institutions are key to the socio-economic development of our nation.
Gachagua said the leaders also influence good governance towards sustainable societies.
He said it is for this reason that they will continue involving the church and other religious groups in their work to gain insights into solving various matters of concern to Kenya.
"As a member of the Kiganjo Presbyterian Church of East Africa Ruguru Parish, this afternoon, I hosted the leadership of Kirimara West Presbytery led by the Moderator Right Reverend Mutahi Thegu, at the Official Residence in Karen," he said.
"He was accompanied by Reverend Francis Ndia, the Chairman of PCEA Mt Kenya Region and Elder Elijah Guyo, who is also the Chairman of the Business Committee."
