Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will on Thursday meet the Kikuyu Council of Elders as he intensifies his campaigns ahead of the 2027 polls.
The Kamba Council of Elders will also join the former vice president.
The joint meeting at the Kikuyu Council of Elders' head office in Ruaka, Kiambu County is part of his efforts to cement his relationship with the Central Kenya region.
A statement by Wiper head of communications Paroma Gatabaki confirmed Thursday's joint elders meeting but did not provide the agenda.
"Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will meet with elders from the Kikuyu Council of Elders and the Kamba Council of Elders,'' reads the statement signed by Gatabaki.
The Wiper boss has recently intensified his countrywide tours, opening offices for his party and meeting opinion leaders.
He hopes to succeed Azimio leader Raila Odinga as the opposition leader should the former prime minister succeed in his African Union Commission job bid.
The Wiper boss has been in several counties in Nyanza and the Coast region over the last week as he moves to consolidate his support and penetrate new enemy territories.
During his trips, Kalonzo has been accompanied by DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa.
The two are said to be plotting a joint presidential ticket to face President William Ruto.
However, Kalonzo is facing stiff opposition for the Azimio ticket from Narc Kenya party boss Martha Karua who hails from the Mt Kenya region.
On March 30, Kalonzo was in Kwale County where he spearheaded a membership registration drive.
He was accompanied by Wamalwa and top Wiper party officials.
“The movement is growing and the People of Kwale County have said that they won't go back,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo has also toured Mombasa, Kisii, Nyamira and Migori counties to push for registration of more wiper members and open new offices.
