The President arrived at 9:45 am on May 20 accompanied by First Lady Rachel Ruto.

Ruto alighted at the airport as his motorcade and secret service rushed to usher him in the Signature building.

Over 50 chase cars were lined up at the airport ready to receive the president.

Ahead of his arrival, there was a beehive of activities at the airport as the secret service from the US government was ensuring that everything was in order.

The president is expected to visit the Carter Presidential Library and Museum as his first stop for the day.

He will then visit Ebenezer Baptist Church to pay homage to the Civil Rights struggle and emphasize how religion can be a force for good.
