The event will take place at the Kenya Military Academy in Lanet. 

The Head of State on Thursday presided over the 26th graduation ceremony of military officers at the National Defence College in Karen. 

The college offers the National Security and Strategy course.

It was accredited to the University of Nairobi in 2002 to offer a Diploma and Master of Arts degree in International studies as part of the college curriculum to improve the quality of the knowledge acquired by participants.

The duration of the course is 48 weeks.

Gachagua to attend Thanksgiving ceremony in Nyandarua 

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will attend a Thanksgiving ceremony in Nyandarua.

Gachagua will be at Mutonyora Comprehensive School in Kinangop.  

Mwaura to give briefing on Madaraka day preparations 

Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura is set to brief the media on Madaraka day preparations. 

Mwaura will also address other national concerns at Nyayo House. 

This year's Madaraka celebrations will be held in Bungoma on June 1. 

Electric Vehicles stakeholders to convene 

Moja EV Kenya Limited will host a meeting with Electric Vehicles (EVs) dealers and stakeholders along Mombasa Road at the Sameer Business Park. 

The stakeholders will explore opportunities and gain insights from industry leaders during the meeting. 

Murkomen to inspect Metre Gauge Railway repairs 

Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen will inspect the Uplands-Kijabe-Longonot Metre Gauge Railway (MGR) line. 

The recent floods washed away the railway line and it has been undergoing repairs.
