Kenya Airways has flagged a job advert that has been doing rounds on social media announcing vacant positions.

KQ on Monday said the job advert post is fake urging Kenyans to be more vigilant so as not to fall prey to conmen.

Kenya Airways said they usually post all their job adverts on their official website and channels.

"For accurate and hiring information, always refer to our official website and channels," KQ said.

The fake advert dated June 14, 2024, called for applications for five different positions which were airline food server, flight attendant, receptionist, booking clerk and security officer.

The fake advert purported that KQ  was hiring "due to an urgent need for professional trainees".
