[PHOTOS] KPSEA starts as 1.3m students sit exams

In Summary


  • The students sat for Mathematics and English papers on Monday.
  • On Tuesday, they will have Integrated Science and Kiswahili before concluding with Created Arts and Social Studies. 

The Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) started on Monday with a total of 1,303,913 Grade 6 students across Kenya sitting for the exam.

Being the third KPSEA under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), it will cover a range of subjects aimed at gauging students' understanding and application of essential skills.

The exams will end on Wednesday.

The students sat for Mathematics and English papers on Monday.

On Tuesday, they will have Integrated Science and Kiswahili before concluding with Created Arts and Social Studies. 

KPSEA aims to facilitate the transition to Júnior Secondary School.
