Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is set to unveil his pan-African vision and strategic priorities for the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa.
This comes even as he battles for the seat with Mahamoud Ali Youssouf of Djibouti.
The launch is a follow up to the official launch of his candidature by President William Ruto in Nairobi on August 27, 2024.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, will lead Kenya’s delegation to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Raila will use the platform to engage with AU’s other stakeholders and partners on his plan of action for Africa’s transformation.
Ruto to grace the Samburu cultural festival
President William Ruto will on Friday grace the Samburu cultural festival.
The three day event that ends on Saturday began on Wednesday and is being held at the Samburu National Reserve.
The event brings together the Maa-speaking communities from Kenya and Tanzania.
