Several parts of the country will on Sunday go without electricity.
Kenya Power on Saturday announced that several areas across four counties will be without power as part of the company's routine maintenance.
The four counties include Nairobi, Kakamega, Kiambu and Kisumu.
In Nairobi, Kenya Power will be having maintenance in parts of Rangwe Road and Kampala Road.
"The listed areas will be under planned power maintenance tomorrow November 10, 2024. We regret any inconvenience that may be caused during the operations," Kenya Power said.
Those to be affected include Paperplast Ltd, Royal Swiss Bakery, Kay Lift Services, Rangwe Close, Chandaria Industries, Jojo Tanks, Trans Africa Paper mills and the adjacent customers.
On Kampala Road, the customers who will be affected by the maintenance according to the schedule by Kenya Power are ABM, Breweries Malting, Kamongo, Ketepa, Chloride Exide, Dodhia Packaging, Ryce East Africa, Nairobi Water & Sewerage, UDV, Kenya Marbles and adjacent customers.
The scheduled maintenance in Nairobi will take place between 9 am to 5 pm.
In Kakamega, customers residing in Matawa area will be affected by the routine maintenance scheduled for 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
They are Matawa market, Matawa village, Ebukamba, Lureko Complex, Matawa Health Centre, Lureko industrial park, Ebukabala and adjacent customers.
In Kisumu, the maintenance will be conducted between 9 am to 3 pm in Kano with the customers to be affected including Nyasamaria, Ragumo, Kadete, Nyangande, Ahero market, Trida factories, Korowe and adjacent customers.
Kenya Power has scheduled maintenance in parts of Kiambu from 9 am to 5 pm affecting customers in Kiandutu, Kahawa Bora, Chania feeds and parts of Capwell.
During this period, power will be unavailable in Kiandutu, Kiandutu Health Centre, Broadway Juja workshop, pump site factory, Jungle nut Chania feeds, Kevin industries, Ken Blest, MRM, Polysack, St Mulumba Hospital, Ben Med, KVM, parts of Capwell and adjacent customers.
