A woman has died from injuries sustained following a road accident along Lang’ata Road near Uhuru Gardens, police have said.
The unidentified woman is said to have been crossing the road when a vehicle heading towards Lang’ata from CBD hit her.
Police said the deceased sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
The body has since been taken to city mortuary awaiting identification and postmortem examination.
Elsewhere, Reuben Mwaura, 35, was hit by a vehicle within the Murengeti area along Nairobi-Naivasha highway.
Police said Mwaura was crossing the road when the vehicle hit him.
He died on the spot and the vehicle failed to stop, police added.
The body was moved to Tigoni Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem examination.
In three separate incidents of death, police found a 39-year-old man dead in his house after a suspected suicide in Thika.
Police said they received a report that a tenant in a house in the Kiganjo area within Karen Estate had committed suicide.
Upon arrival at the house, they found the body of Martin Mbora hanging from the roof with a sisal rope around his neck
It was established that the deceased was last seen entering his house on Saturday evening, where he set a high music volume overnight.
It was not until Sunday that he was found dead when the reporter became concerned about the loud music and decided to knock on the door.
A suicide note with the words “Bro maisha ya hii dunia sitawezana imekuwa ngumu kwangu, naomba msamaha kila mtu (Life in this world has become hard, I can't manage, I ask for forgiveness from everyone)" was recovered on his bed.
The body which had no visible injuries was removed to Genera Kago Mortuary for preservation and postmortem.
Meanwhile, In Zimmerman, a body was found lying at an abandoned unfinished building in the Progema area.
Police established that the body of an unknown male aged 33 years was decomposed.
The body which had no visible injuries, was moved to the city mortuary awaiting identification and autopsy.
And in Nakuru, a tenant reported that her landlord Joseph Tito aged 38 years had been discovered lying dead on the bed inside his house.
The deceased had been recently discharged from PGH Nakuru where he was being treated for stomach complications.
Police found some medications and medical reports in his house.
The body was removed to PNN mortuary awaiting postmortem examination.
