Deputy President Kithure Kindiki is expected to preside over the official opening of the Annual Editor’s Convention in Nakuru.
The opening ceremony begins at 9 am.
“The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, Professor Kithure Kindiki, will today grace the official opening of the Annual Editors’ Convention as the Chief Guest,” KEG announced on X.
The convention held once every year is organized by the Kenya Editors Guild (KEG) and will be held at Sarova Woodlands hotel.
Editors have gathered in Nakuru for the five-day Convention to share ideas in line with this year’s theme of innovative storytelling that can build public trust and drive change in the digital world.
Other speakers at the convention will include Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika and Liu Zhenyu, Director for Information and Public Affairs at the Chinese Embassy.
Over 60 delegates are attending the conference.
This is the seventh Annual Editors Convention.
