President William Ruto on Sunday attended church service at Soul Harvest Chruch in Taita Taveta County.

Following the service, he challenged Kenyans with the Scriptures from Proverbs 3:5, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

At the same time, his former deputy, Rigathi Gachagua worshipped at Kanunga Baptism Church in Nyeri County.

He encouraged Kenyans with the word in Psalms 5:12-13, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you."

Gachagua was accompanied by his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
