Kenya Power has listed areas in five counties scheduled for power interruption on Tuesday.
The power interruption will occur between 8 am and 5 pm in different counties.
The counties to be affected are Bomet, Narok, Nandi, Kakamega, Migori, Kirinyaga, and Kiambu.
Narok and Bomet
Parts of Narok and Bomet counties will experience power interruptions from 8 am to 4.30pm.
They are Sachora Market, Youth Farmers, Longisa Hospital, Longisa Market, Mulot Market, Kembu Market, Kapkimworwa Quarry, Olngoswet, Chemaner, Kimuchul, Greenfield T/Fact, Kisyet T/Fact, Kutete Market, Tegat Market, Ngito, Kipturgut Market, Olmenani, and Laluk.
Nandi
Areas in Nandi will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They will include Kabongwa, Chepterit, Tulon, Kilibwon, Factory, and adjacent customers.
Kakamega
Parts of Kakamega to experience power cuts from 8am to 5pm are Amalemba, Shitaho, Muranda, Shavirotsi, Shinyalu, Kwirenyi, and Itenyi.
Migori
Parts of Migori will experience power cuts from 9am to 4pm.
They are parts of Gogo, Osiri Matanda, Macalda, Osiri Gold Mine, Nyakwere, Lwanda, Sori, Muhurubay, Othoch Rakwom, Sibuoche, Namba Kondelo, Bande, Ongeri, and Macalda Polytechnic.
Kirinyaga
Parts of Kirinyaga will experience power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.
They are Kiarukungu, Kiorugari, HCDA, KHE, Kimbimbi Market and Hospital, Nguraini, Karoti Girls School, Karlo, Kimbimbi, Nineve, Mathangauta, Matandara, Mahigaini, Kiriko, Kirogo, Nyamindi, Nguchui, Tebere Secondary School, Bahati, and Kamuchege Villages.
Other areas in Kirinyaga will experience power cuts from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
They are Karurumo, Kasafari, Karerema, Kanyuambora, Ishiara Market, Kamumu, Ngunyumu, Soko, and Gitii.
Kiambu
Areas in Kiambu will experience power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.
They are Slaughter Road, Ruaka Police, Cyton, Gertrude, Equity Bank, Joy Land, Catholic Church, Quick Mart S/Market, Clean Shelf S/Market, and Total Petrol Station.
