The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has announced six job vacancies.
In a notice on Tuesday’s copy of My Gov, KNEC invited competent, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the Examination Officer – KNEC Grade 7 positions.
KNEC said it will offer a competitive remuneration package corresponding with the responsibilities of the position on a one-year contract.
Interested and qualified candidates are advised to fill and submit the Application for Employment Form KNEC 2A - (External applicants) and Application for Employment Form KNEC 2B - (Internal applicants).
They should also submit an application letter, accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
The applicants should ensure that their CVs are comprehensive giving details of daytime telephone contact, e-mail address, current remuneration (enclose a copy of your latest pay slip), names and current contacts of three referees.
The documents are to be submitted on or before January 28, 2025.

At the same time, Kenya Railways has advertised 16 job opportunities including those of General Manager of Rail Operations, General Manager of Finance, Manager of Insurance Services, Rail Safety Manager and Revenue Assurance & Credit Control Manager.
Others are Procurement Manager, Passenger Services Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager, Strategy & Corporate Planning Manager, QMS & Risk Co-ordination Manager and Manager Civil Engineering.
Manager Signaling, Electrical & Communication, Technical Audit Manager, Marine Operations Manager, Deputy Director - Finance & Corporate Services and Deputy Director - Research & Business Development.
KR said interested and qualified candidates must complete the Kenya Railways application form KR/HR/08 that is available on its website, and attach their testimonials, certified copies of certificates, ID and CV.
The applications should be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
KR said the details of duties, responsibilities and qualifications for each position are available on its website; www.krc.co.ke.
It directed applicants to quote the Job reference number on the envelope and the application letter.
Applicants must provide a signed application letter, a detailed CV indicating current and previous employers, positions held, level of education, current and expected salary, notice period required to take up appointment and names of at least three professional referees.
They are also expected to provide certified copies of academic and professional certificates and a certified copy of ID or valid passport.
KR noted that successful candidates must present and satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by providing clearance certificates.
These include a valid certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, a valid clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a valid Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), current clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) is also looking to employ a Senior Director, Clinical Services.
