Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is set to unveil his interim report on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

In a tweet on his X account, Gachagua indicated that his much-awaited address would be aired on various TV and radio stations.

Gachagua asked Kenyans to tune in and get to hear what he had in store after holding a series of meetings with different groups.

"Tonight our engagement is a joint media interview to give an interim report of the various consultations we have held," he stated.

"Please join us from the comfort of your home, from 7 pm. Blessed Sunday fellow Kenyans."

Gachagua has recently been hosting a group of leaders from across the country at his residence saying he is gathering opinions and insights on how the country should move forward.

Earlier on, the former DP had said he would have given the feedback earlier, were it not for the overwhelming feedback.

“I had promised that by December 31, 2024, to report on consultations I have been having. I ask for forgiveness for being a little bit late. It is because the responses and feedback were overwhelming,” the former DP said then.

“At first, I thought that it would only be people from Mt Kenya who would show up, however, many people from across the country came and I saw it fit not to lock anyone out. On Sunday, February 9, I will find time and give out the report on the feedback.”

Gachagua promised to continue holding conversations with leaders across the country on how best to move the country forward.

The former DP said that from the consultations he has been having, leaders and Kenyans said the solutions to the problems lie within the citizens.

According to the former DP, what Kenyans need to do is to ensure that everyone feels part of the process they are embarking on.

“We will re-orientate our political discourse. The consultations continue," he said on February 2, 2025.

Gachagua has remained active hosting politicians, opinion leaders, church leaders and professionals from the region as he strategises for 2027.

Over the past month, his Wamunyoro residence has been a hub of political activities, with delegations from various counties in Mt Kenya flocking to discuss potential political options.
