Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has apologised to his Murang'a counterpart Irungu Kang'ata over remarks he made over the weekend, saying they were taken out of context.
Kahiga clarified his message, saying his aim was to push the Murang'a governor to defend the interests of the Mt Kenya region.
Meanwhile, Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma has praised former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as a visionary leader with global recognition, emphasising that his influence and leadership qualities make him the ideal candidate for the AUC chairmanship.
