It was pomp and colour as various dignitaries converged in Nairobi on Wednesday for a Gala dinner in honour of the Kenya Police Football Club.

The Gala dinner was dedicated to celebrating the club's achievements and setting a bold vision for the future.

The Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja joined the club at the gala dinner held at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi.

Among some of the distinguished guests present included the club’s patron Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.

The Kenya Police Football Club's management, partners, passionate supporters, and other stakeholders attended the event to demonstrate their commitment to the club's successes.

Other distinguished members include Deputy Inspector General of Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat, Deputy Inspector General of Administration Police Service Gilbert Masengeli and Commandant National Police College Kiganjo Nyale Munga.

During the event, Omollo expressed optimism for the club's future, emphasising the dedication of the players, fans, and technical bench, who have prompted the team to move forward.

The IG of Police, who is also the Deputy Club Patron reaffirmed the commitment of the National Police Service towards supporting Police FC with a common vision of taking the club to the top of regional and continental football.

Locally, the club had made progress which saw them secure promotion to the top-tier professional league in the country, the Kenyan Premier League in the 2021/2022 season.

The team continues to make history and impress in the FKF Premier League where they lie top of the league table with 38 points in the current season.

Police FC continues to assert its dominance in the league this season.

Their outstanding performances in the league in the 2023/2024 season saw them finish in third place.
