Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba has said that she will not vie for any elective seat using the ruling UDA party ticket.
Wamuchomba insisted that in whatever position it will be, the UDA party will not be an option for her.
The legislator said that while she had high expectations with the leadership of UDA, that has turned out not to be the case.
Elsewhere, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino says that he is open to joining President William Ruto’s Cabinet if he publicly announces that education is free.
National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula has defended the right of MPs to attend the high-level international forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at their own cost, dismissing claims that Parliament had allocated resources for such travel.
