

ODM leader Raila Odinga has hinted at making a major announcement next week, following wide consultations across the country.
Following his high-level meeting with President William Ruto, where the two addressed various national issues, Raila pledged to “consult wisely” as he mapped out his next steps.
On Tuesday, Raila, who began his consultative meeting in Kisumu, stated that he began his meeting by engaging elders from across the region.
He shared his experiences from the African Union (AU) elections, detailing the campaign process, voting dynamics, and the lessons learned. He emphasized that the AU chapter is now behind him and that it is time to move forward.
He also met with youth leaders from Kisumu County and county party officials, reiterating that there is life after Addis Ababa and urging them to remain strong and strengthen the party.
Raila assured his supporters that before making any final decisions, he would conduct extensive consultations beyond Nyanza, engaging different regions across the country.
"I will not confine myself to Nyanza alone.After this, I will visit other parts of Kenya," he said.
He announced that before the end of next week, he will make a statement after concluding his consultation tour.
"I will make an announcement sometime next week; watch this space," he said
