The High Court will today hear a case challenging the ouster of Meru Governor Kawria Mwangaza.
Justice Bahati Mwamuye said the case will be heard in open court after numerous distractions by members of the public anytime the matter was proceeding virtually.
The last time the matter was in court, FiDA and the Council of Governors were enjoined in the case as interested parties.
Jason Rukaria a voter from Meru was also allowed to participate in the case.
Kawira obtained temporary orders stopping her impeachment but the Senate has since filed an application seeking to have those orders set aside.
Separately the High Court is expected to deliver a judgement in a matter where Court of Appeal judge Aggrey Muchelule and five others are demanding an apology and compensation after being denied their jobs during Former President Uhuru Kenyatta's regime.
The six judges were rejected by the former president over integrity concerns but were appointed when Ruto came into office.
They sued the state seeking to have it compelled to publicly admit no evidence justified their disqualification.
They are judges of the appellate court Muchelule, Weldon Korir, Joel Ngugi and George Odunga. Others are Evans Makoti and Judy Omange who are Environment and Lands Court judges.
