DStv, GOtv to air Madonga, Lukyamuzi heavyweight title fight

All is set for the extravaganza that will feature seven bouts-Odhiambo.

DStv and GOtv viewers will have the opportunity to watch live Karim 'Mtu Kazi' Mandonga face off against Uganda's Kenneth Lukyamuzi in the heavyweight title fight on Saturday at the Moi International Sports Centre, Gymnasium from 7 pm.

The battle for glory will be via DStv Channel 158 and GOtv Channel 4.

Speaking during the highly-charged weigh-in event that was held at the MultiChoice Kenya Head Office, Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) acting secretary general Julius Odhiambo confirmed that all the expected boxing athletes from Uganda and Tanzania had arrived for the bout.

“All is set for the extravaganza that will feature seven bouts. We are glad that GOtv and DStv will relay the event live on both DStv and GOtv,” said Odhiambo.

MultiChoice Kenya managing director Nancy Matimu confirmed MultiChoice’s formal entrance into the fast-growing local boxing industry to help profile sports personalities while keeping DStv and GOtv audiences entertained.

Lukuyamuzi is geared up for the Nairobi Night Rumble ahead of Mandonga's Saturday return to Nairobi.
