Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday arrived in Nairobi for a three-day State visit.
President Mnangagwa was received by President Uhuru Kenyatta at the State House.
The State Reception Ceremony included a colourful Guard of Honor mounted by the Kenya Air Force and a 21 gun Salute.
Earlier during the day, Kenya- Zimbabwe Joint Permanent Commission for Cooperation (JPCC) agreed on various sectors of cooperation and strengthening of bilateral ties.
The JPCC was chaired by Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Raychelle Omamo and Zimbabwean Foreign Minister Ambassador Frederick Shava.
President Mnangagwa assumed office after the late Robert Mugabe in November 2017.
