Kisumu governor candidate Erick Osenya has appealed to residents to work with President-elect William Ruto for the sake of development.
Osenya, who unsuccessfully sought the seat on the UDA ticket, expressed optimism that Ruto will fulfill all his pre-election pledges to Kenyans
“The Deputy President is now the President-elect and it’s my passionate appeal that the Luo community accepts this fact and moves on,” Osenya said.
He urged the Luo people to strive to be part of the government, adding that Ruto has shown readiness to embrace everyone.
He, however, called on the youth across the country to stop spewing hate messages online and to debunk the ongoing narrative on social media that Azimio leader Raila is branded as a perennial loser.
He urged the youth to remain peaceful as the nation awaits the court verdict on the presidential petition filed by the Azimio team.
